Leadership Lab Yetu is recruiting for multiple roles as part of our expansion. These positions support programme delivery, financial oversight, operational management, and internal systems coordination. All roles are based in Rwanda. Applicants must hold the legal right to work in Rwanda at the time of application. Applications from candidates without current work authorisation in Rwanda will not be considered. Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in English and French.

1. Program Officer

Location: Rwanda
Reports To: Program Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview

This role supports the development and execution of Leadership Lab Yetu’s programs and communications. You will be a creative contributor who ensures smooth delivery of programs, engaging outreach and consistent documentation of our work. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in planning and delivering leadership programs and workshops.
  • Draft and schedule social media posts, newsletters, and blog content.
  • Help manage participant communications and program logistics.
  • Support data collection for monitoring and evaluation.
  • Maintain and update website content and digital assets.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience (internships included).
  • Degree in Project Administration, Marketing, Graphic Design or other relevant disciplines.
  • Strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with social media tools and basic design platforms (e.g., Canva).
  • Enthusiastic and proactive team player.

2. Operations Manager

Location: Rwanda
Reports To: CEO
Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview

You will support a people-first culture by managing HR processes and operational systems. Your work will help build an equitable, inclusive, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial, operations and HR functions in the organization.
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Develop and maintain organisational policies, Finance & HR procedures, and internal operational protocols. 
  • Coordinate performance reviews and learning & development processes.
  • Manage operational workflows, tools, internal systems and compliance processes.
  • procurement systems, vendor contracting, and operational documentation for Yetu convenings
  • Help drive a positive and inclusive organizational culture.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in HR or people operations.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with labor laws, HR tools, and inclusive HR practices.
  • Experience supporting cross border teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate about team development and organizational culture.

3. Administration Officer

Location: Rwanda

Overview

You will be support the day-to-day operations and manage logistics for events. This role ensures our spaces (virtual and physical) are welcoming, functional, and well-run.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling and document management.
  • Organize logistics for workshops, events, and meetings.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor coordination.
  • Support internal communications and documentation processes.
  • Assist in onboarding and welcoming new staff and participants.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of administrative or event experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office or Google Workspace.

4. Finance Officer

Location: Rwanda
Reports To: Operations Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview

You will be responsible for budgeting, grant tracking, bookkeeping, and financial reporting helping ensure that Yetu’s programmes are delivered with strong financial accountability and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Budgeting, financial planning, and reporting.
  • Day-to-day financial management, including bookkeeping and payroll.
  • Procurement, vendor relationships, and contracts.
  • Support operational systems including IT, risk, and compliance frameworks.
  • Prepare for audits and ensure adherence to financial policies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of finance and operations experience, ideally in the nonprofit sector.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CA or equivalent certification is a strong asset.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, budgeting, and grant management.
  • Experience with accounting software and tools.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and systems-driven.
