Intergenerational Leadership Accelerator

Our flagship leadership program

At Leadership Lab Yetu, we believe lasting change happens when leaders across generations listen to one another, build trust, and lead side by side. The Intergenerational Leadership Accelerator is our flagship, 12-month program that brings emerging and experienced African leaders together to exchange knowledge, grow their leadership practice, and take collective action on solutions grounded in African realities.

We support African leaders who are serving or about to step into positions of national or international scope for the first time. Fellows typically:

Are between 25 and 45 years old
Have a record of bold, values-driven leadership
Are committed to a career of public service and social impact
Have held their current leadership role for under two years
Are citizens of African countries, working on issues relevant to the continent’s development

Each applicant goes through a rigorous selection process. We identify leaders who are most prepared to work across generations and other divides to shape the continent’s future.
