Steven Bernardus ǀHaraǂgeib is a systems thinker, storyteller, and development strategist with over a decade of experience driving social and policy transformation across Africa. He works at the intersection of trauma-informed leadership, mental health, and governance innovation blending narrative, policy, and community practice into actionable change. Steven previously served as Director and Head of Programs in the Presidency of Namibia, where he led national efforts on gender-based violence, HIV/AIDS, and youth empowerment. Today, he supports the vision behind Leadership Lab Yetu, helping shape a new generation of intergenerational African leaders through strategy, storytelling, and systems thinking. He is a member of the African Union’s Transitional Justice Experts Group, founder of Public Heart Institute, and co-founder of PGPR Technologies, a social impact startup addressing food security. His work has earned him fellowships from TEDx, the Atlantic Council, and FutureElect. Steven is the author of Good Vibes and Butterflies and hosts two podcasts exploring masculinity, mental health, and faith. At the heart of his work is a bold belief - healing is strategy and the future belongs to those who can hold pain, power, and possibility in the same breath.
